About Thomas
Alongside academic commitments, I enjoy helping others to improve and develop their skills in Spanish and Portuguese. I have three degrees in Spanish and Portuguese language and literature from Oxford and have a passion for Spanish and Portuguese literature, and, in particular, early modern poetry and drama.

I have over a decade’s experience of teaching Spanish and Portuguese language, literature, and translation and have taught students of all levels. I am currently teaching and supporting GCSE students in both languages, and am happy to teach all types of learner. I have a doctorate in Spanish and Portuguese literature, which is useful in preparing students for essays on texts in the target language, and work on significant translation projects. I’m good at explaining and simplifying difficult grammatical topics and tailoring tuition to individual requirements and considerations.
