About Matilda
I have very recent experience tutoring GCSE English/English Literature, and have recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Psychology. I'm currently studying for a degree in Law at the University of York. I am particularly confident assisting students with critical analysis, comprehension, and essay writing.

With my teaching, my primary goal is to foster genuine understanding of the concepts that the student is struggling with, and helping them to organise their thoughts to produce work that is cohesive, fluent, and reflective of this comprehension. I take a professional approach, but I'm very warm and empathetic with my students as I understand the frustrations that can come with learning something challenging and managing a large workload, given that I am still a student myself.
