About Jamila
I am very communicative when it comes to interacting with clients and those who are setting up tutoring sessions on their behalf. Rarely does it ever take me more than 24 hours to respond to a call, text, or email. I am punctual, professional, and very organized in how I go about my job. My students' success is important to me, and I am more than willing to put in as much time as necessary to help bring about whatever growth is needed.

My past roles range from guided reading teacher, push-in and pullout support for struggling learners in middle and high school, and teaching high school English in self-contained classroom setting for students with disabilities. I am passionate about education, impacting the lives of young people, and finding ways to empower my students with both knowledge and confidence. I am an experienced online tutor who crafts custom lessons for each of my students based on their individual needs. I have tutored students from as young as 9 years old to adult-aged learners in college or seeking graduate school admission.
I also have a plethora of experience as a math tutor, and I tutor math levels from middle school math through Algebra 2 and Geometry.
