About Sofia
I am a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where I am currently based. In the past year alone, I have worked as a producer and background artist on a video game trailer, a sound designer on four films, and directed and animated my thesis film. My thesis has won two grants and is now on a festival run (and has already earned several laurels). Outside of schoolwork, I worked at SVA’s radio station, where I directed our radio hosts, archived our station’s history, and took care of the equipment. I have a well-rounded assortment of experiences in visual design, audio, and production management - which I believe all support my abilities as a filmmaker.
