About Pearce
My name is Pearce Allingham, I'm 25 years old and recently moved to beautiful Melbourne. I left the security of a job in Genetic research at home, to pursue my hopes of entering the world of sport as a professional nutritionist.
Football (or soccer as it's known here) is my passion! I'm not the greatest striker of the ball you will ever see, but my knowledge of the energy requirements of the sport, alongside my nutritional experience, have always allowed me to play at a high intensity that can't be sustained by the average amateur, something I pride myself on!
I have had experience at home in Ireland working with Mixed Martial Artists in making weight for competition, in a safe, tempered manner, that allowed them to fight without the compromises in physique, performance, and mental capacity that are often seen with intense dehydration strategies.

Sports are a passion shared by millions of people worldwide. Exploring your passions should not feel like a chore or a burden, it should excite you!
That's why I strive to teach people with an interest in sports nutrition, in an easily understood and yet scientifically comprehensive manner, usually through powerpoints and infographics, that convert the difficult stuff, into more easily understood and enjoyable material!
I have over 3 years experience in the field of medicinal chemistry, and a year experience in communicating nutrition to others who share my love of sports.
These lessons can be tailored to any age, but are typically aimed at individuals of competitive nature, who want to gain an edge over the competition, or professionals in the fitness industry who want to gain some more information to share with their clients.
