About Rachael
I tutored Italian for 2 years during my undergraduate career at all levels from just starting out to the extremely advanced. During this time I had a range of students, anywhere between 1 and 10 during a single lesson, with about 20 different students overall. In addition to specifically teaching Italian, I have also taught courses for my graduate studies, and been given exemplary satisfaction ratings from them.

I teach at all levels of Italian, although I have the most experience teaching new learners of the language or people who may be at a higher level of instruction but are struggling with certain concepts (such as the verb tenses).
My instruction is very individualized, focusing primarily on any problem spots, and I believe very heavily in immersion teaching, encouraging students to use as much Italian as they can when asking questions. I'm very patient with new learners and will not interrupt unless requested in order to provide a word.
