About Christina
My true goal is to make sure students learn to love learning inside and outside the classroom. I am confident each student will open their minds to newer and fun ways to learn each subject without being constrained to normal classroom routines. Since I have been learning in boring, dull classrooms for nearly a decade, I aim to make sure students understand the subject without hating the learning aspect of it.

I am a proud supporter of the cooperative classroom teaching method. It is easy to get bored and forget about the lesson if the teacher does ALL the talking...so it is much more impactful and fun when the children are given the chance to teach as well! This practically means that they will be given a chance to master a skill and be able to perform or "teach" others as a better form of memorization. I am not a run-of-the-mill tutor, I go out of my way to make sure the children are having a blast and enjoy learning. My lessons are typically for ESL students who have trouble understanding the differences (or multiple) cultural mixes of the United states. I aim to teach and prep students to learn about the world around them as well as mastering the English language.
