About Justin
I am a graduate student at the University of Memphis, studying music education. I have been taking music education courses since 2016, as I have been around music education for a long time. I love music! I have been teaching private lessons since high school, as that is when I found my love for teaching music.

I am a hard worker that cares for my students and want to see my students succeed. I desire to become the best teacher/tutor possible to further my students' development. I tend to have a structured lesson plan, including a warm-up, technical work, and repertoire depending on the student. For the first lesson, I would listen to the student to see where he/she is at so that I know what the student needs. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am patient as well as attentive to what I am seeing and hearing so that I can direct instruction. I also excel at being helpful by giving ideas. The lessons are for middle and high school clarinet/music students.
