About Monika
had decided to be a teacher rb ecause I felt that I could reach any kind of student.
I never stopped encouraging, praising when a student did well, pushing when they could obviously do more by asking them to "dig deep" instead of skimming the surface. I did want to change my students' worlds, to give them skills to serve them in the future, t get them to think about their place in the world and what kind of person they wanted to be, and to be able to say at the end of the year that they had indeed learned worthwhile skills for the future.
