About Grace
I want you to know that I truly understand what you’re going through because I was in your shoes not long ago. I remember how overwhelming it felt trying to learn what seemed like an endless amount of information, questioning whether I was studying the right way, and feeling the pressure of preparing for the VTNE\.
Even now, as a certified veterinary technician, every day in veterinary medicine is a learning experience. No one ever knows everything in this field, and that’s one of the things I love most about it. We continue to grow with every patient, every case, and every challenge we encounter.
That’s why my goal as a tutor isn’t to make you memorize every fact in a textbook—it’s to help you understand the concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence in your ability to reason through questions. We’ll talk about *why* the correct answer is correct, *why* the other choices are wrong, and how to recognize the clues the VTNE gives you. When you truly understand the material, you’re much better equipped to answer questions you’ve never seen before.
I know how intimidating the VTNE can feel, but I also know that you are capable of passing it with the right guidance and study approach. I’m here to support you, answer your questions without judgment, and help you build the confidence you need—not just to pass the exam, but to become the best veterinary technician you can be.

Passing the VTNE isn’t about memorizing thousands of facts—it’s about learning how to think through a question the way the exam expects you to.
In my tutoring sessions, I don’t just tell you the correct answer. We break down why it’s correct, why each of the other choices is wrong, and what clues in the question help you eliminate distractors. My goal is to teach you the critical thinking process behind every question so you can confidently answer new questions you’ve never seen before.
We’ll focus on understanding concepts instead of memorizing them. That means connecting physiology, pharmacology, anesthesia, nursing care, lab work, and other subjects so you understand how they apply in real clinical situations. By the time you take the exam, you’ll be able to reason through challenging questions rather than relying on recall alone.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “I memorized this, but I still don’t know why I got the question wrong,” that’s exactly what we’ll work on. Every incorrect answer is an opportunity to strengthen your understanding and improve your test-taking skills.
My goal isn’t just to help you pass the VTNE—it’s to help you become a stronger, more confident veterinary technician.
