My approach to tutoring is centred around clarity, patience, and adaptability. I aim to explain algebraic concepts straightforwardly, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts. I encourage active participation by asking questions, providing examples, and engaging in problem-solving together. This keeps students involved and makes the learning process dynamic. If a student does not understand a concept, I patiently revisit the topic, using different examples and approaches until they feel comfortable. I believe that everyone learns at their own pace and it’s important to provide a supportive environment. Regular practice is crucial in mastering algebra. I provide exercises and problems for students to solve, followed by constructive feedback. This helps in identifying areas that need more focus. Each lesson could last from one to two hours. This duration is sufficient to cover a topic comprehensively, practice problems, and address any questions or difficulties the student might have. My lessons are designed for students in grades 8-10. These are typically students aged 13-16 who are looking to strengthen their algebra skills. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or looking to excel further, my classes are tailored to meet their individual needs and help them achieve their academic goals.
