About Brady
As a former college athlete playing linebacker at Ohio Dominican University I know the importance that perseverance plays in all of our lives, but I've found it very frequent in math. It is very easy to get frustrated and upset about our math abilities especially when faced with a tough challenge or question. As your tutor I will be dedicated to provide engaging and thought-provoking tasks to help all learners improve their math abilities. Through my math services my students will build their mathematical abilities to persevere and stretch their abilities to think deeper and longer about math topics.

I believe that math is what you do when you do not know what to do. It is problem-solving at all levels. My goal is to guide students to think about math not just mimic ways to solve specific problems.
-My lessons will begin with a thinking task or question that anybody can work to solve followed by the essential question or skill we will be working on with specific mathematical models and strategies to help us. Then we will begin with engaging and thought-provoking mathematical tasks. Finishing with a wrap-around question or idea to pull all of our findings together so we can store our strategies into our mind's toolbox
- My lessons are built for all students. Specifically, I've found my style and methods have worked efficiently for students who seem to struggle with mathematics as well as with students who are above grade level and need to be elevated to push their abilities in math.
