About Matthew
To just give you a synopsis of my work and how long I have been fully dancing, I am originally from Bradley Beach, NJ, currently completing my BFA in Dance at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. With over a decade of training and performance experience, I am eager to further my career in the commercial industry and as your tutor would want to elevate your career and help guide your future decisions! I have trained extensively in commercial hip hop, contemporary, modern, ballet, tap, and jazz, and my recent performance and choreography credits include Rutgers Student Works Concerts (2023–2024), Dance Works at RVCC (2021–2023), Malicious Attractions at the Roxy Ballet River Festival (2025), as well as concept videos such as Alter Ego and One Sip, One Mistake both choreographed and produced myself. I am passionate about choreography and have created works across both concert and commercial settings over the past couple of years. Beyond dance, I bring experience in acting and singing, as well as training in improvisation and musical theater. I also have teaching and choreographic experience at studios, including Shoreline Dance Academy and Miss Mare’s All About Dance, as well as workshops and masterclasses in New York and New Jersey. I am someone who will work with you personally and want to help your choreographic, performance, or educational abilities and opportunities.

With over 15 years of performance, choreography, teaching, and social media experience, I can give you all the right training and tools necessary to create a successful path for your dance career. Whether that be for a college program, dance team, or networking, I am experienced in it all. I have choreographed and performed many works myself, especially over the past 4 years in college. On top of that, I am currently working with Choreographers in NY, and am a freelance commercial dancer. I teach at two studios, and do social media coordination for my own dance/business account, as well as for my studio's Instagram account. I understand what college dance programs, teams, and choreographers are looking for. If you want the right guidance on how to level up your professional work, I can work one on one with you in doing that!
