About Abraham

CAREER
Abraham D. Flores has performed in important venues in Latin America with different orchestral groups and chamber ensembles such as the Sala Nezahualcoyotl, Sala Silvestre Revueltas, and independent venues in Switzerland
In 2005 he began transverse flute studies under Ernesto Cabrera Pérez, and Cristian Rosete, composition under Jonathan Carrasco, he has taken master classes with flutists such as Oscar Oscher (Uruguay), Sarah Louvion (France) Marcelo Álvarez (Argentina) Alice K Dade (United States) and Ricardo Benítez (Cuba) and Trio D'Argent.
2015-2016 member of the youth orchestra of the state of Puebla, with David Pérez Olmedo as principal conductor.
2015 begins studies led by Ricardo Benítez.
Diploma in Contemporary Music Seminar by Ónix ensemble organized
by Dr. Alejandro Escuer.

Study of the French Baroque flute by Robert Marie Touzet Vincent.
In 2022 he graduates from the UNAM Faculty of Music with a bachelor's degree in Transverse Flute, in the chair of Miguel Ángel Villanueva Rangel.
2020 He has been invited by Casa México in Paris, France to present the original work for Flute and Electronics “Ny3t”.
2023 Winner of the UNAM National Jazz Flute Competition
He currently works as a promoter of Traditional Cuban Son and a music teacher in the field of improvisation and the transverse flute instrument. He has received recognition for his participation in courses, transverse flute festivals and cultural festivals.
