About Elysia
My name is Elysia. You can call me Miss Laidlaw but I don’t mind you calling me by my first name and I am somebody who has worked in primary schools and secondary schools over the last four years. I have done everything from teaching lessons to covering lessons to be in a one-to-one I have experience mostly in English and PE but I also do love maths maths was one of my favourite subjects at school. I do creative writing and I am a poet I wrote over 100 poems in my lifeand And creative writing is something that I am very passionate about. I love English literature. I’ve always loved English English literature and I have a very strong understanding of it so when it I’ll be able to give you that as well.

I love when tutoring feels fun and entertaining. I never used to adapt to tutoring that felt like I was in school because you want to go to school when you’re tutor you want to have fun with it. You wanna learn something but you wanna remember exactly what you’ve been cheated. I’m one of those Tutors that is always looking for games and very creative ways of remembering what we learn whether it’s you teach me something back so I know that you’ve understood or whether we use games card gamesbut making But making posters making music out of there anything that helps you remember.
