My methodology is to try to make the student understand the subject matter, thus preferring the understanding of the subject to mnemonic learning (an approach that I also used at university. I like to tackle the question together with the student, trying to involve him at best and encouraging him to find the solution, sometimes asking more questions that, in my experience, promote understanding and reasoning. My lessons are aimed at students who need support for studying in scientific subjects, mainly biology and chemistry, in middle and high schools.
