About JIYU
I’m someone who has learned a second language myself — I was born in China and speak both Chinese and English. I know what it’s like to learn new words, make mistakes, and feel proud when you finally understand something. That’s why I want to help you feel that same joy when you learn Chinese! I’ve studied in the UK and now I’m studying to become a full-time teacher in Australia. I love teaching because I believe learning a language can open doors to the world, help you make new friends, and discover more about yourself. In our lessons, we’ll learn lots of new words through stories, games, and fun activities — no pressure, just step by step, at your own pace. I’m here to support you, cheer you on, and help you grow.
