About Elena
My name is Elena García Gómez. I am a 22-year-old girl recently graduated in Speech Therapy from the University of Oviedo.
I am an empathetic, kind, dutiful and hard-working person. During these years of career I have been able to do internships with people of different ages (from children to the elderly). Children are my preferred field and I consider that I cope very well with them, although during the last year of my degree in my practicum I have had the opportunity to work in speech therapy sessions with adults with different pathologies (dysphonia, aphasias, dysarthria, dysphagia ...) and I have enjoyed and learned a lot.
I have also had the opportunity to carry out extracurricular internships at the Asturias Down Syndrome Association together with the users who attended the "Individualized Support Program". [N ]
I have the title of Free Time Monitor and I have done different volunteering in these years.
I offer my services as a speech therapist to introduce myself to the world of professions and gain work experience.

I offer my services for speech therapy sessions but I am also open to reinforcement in primary education subjects. I propose the sessions with a maximum duration of 1 hour but I consider it advisable that they be 45 minutes. I would prepare the materials to be used in the sessions according to the person with whom they are intervening and according to their tastes and preferences. It also amuses me and motivates me to develop activities and tasks that are suitable and novel for the child and / or adult.
Currently my time availability is complete and I would have no problem moving through different areas around Oviedo since I have driving license and car.
