About Luis Enrique
I was born in Uruapan, Michoacán. I began my musical studies at the age of 11, initially as a self-taught person. At 17, I entered the Popular Faculty of Fine Arts, in Morelia, where I studied piano under the careful direction of Dr. Olga Chkourak. I also took some classes with Alexander Pashkov and Nika Jonicenoka. In 2016 I graduated with honors, obtaining a Bachelor of Music degree. In 2020 I studied a Master of Arts at the University of Guanajuato.
In my career as a pianist I have worked as a soloist, accompanist and also in chamber music ensembles. I have performed in some of the main auditoriums in the state.
I currently work as a piano teacher at the Popular Faculty of Fine Arts and I also give private lessons.

My teaching method is based on the design of strategies based on the knowledge of each student's own abilities and goals. I mainly rely on the teaching method of the Russian piano school, with an emphasis on knowledge of the pianist's biomechanics.
My experience as a teacher is diverse. I have taught young children, adult beginners and young students at the Popular Faculty of Fine Arts.
I offer piano lessons for amateurs and also high-level piano training for children and young people who aspire to become professional musicians. Some of my students have successfully managed to enter higher-level musical institutions.
As a pianist I have performed as a soloist, accompanist pianist and I have also collaborated in chamber music ensembles.
