About Rishil
I am a student currently reading Actuarial Science at the London School of Economics. Mathematics and analytical problem-solving form a core part of my academic work, and I have consistently been someone others turn to for help with numerical and quantitative subjects. I take genuine satisfaction in helping a student move from confusion to clarity on a topic, and I bring a patient, methodical approach to explaining concepts. I have developed strong adaptability and an awareness of different learning needs and styles. My motivation for tutoring stems from my own experience of needing concepts explained clearly and patiently, and I aim to provide that same standard of support to every student I work with.

Hey! I'm currently studying Actuarial Science at LSE, and I tutor Maths at GCSE and A-level. My teaching style is all about making sure things actually click, not just cramming formulas — I like breaking problems down properly, using examples that make sense in real life, and going at whatever pace works for you (or your child!). Lessons are usually 1 hour, and I try to keep a good mix of explaining stuff clearly and then actually practising it together, so you leave each session feeling like you've properly understood it, not just watched someone else do the work. I'm happy working with students who are aiming for top grades and want a bit of extra push, as well as those who are finding maths tricky and just need it explained in a way that finally makes sense.
