I am a lecturer/educator with approximately 5 years of experience in teaching, tutoring or learning related to Media Design. I have taught more than 100 students and am able to see students build the technical capacities needed to be effective designers.

My teaching methodology depends on what my students need to master my subjects. Design is both conceptual and technical and so I will use real life examples or exercises that facilitate the best understanding of their subject area. Some students will be more visually receptive, while others will learn faster through discussion or practice. I will use whichever methodology works best for my class/individual learner. I also like to provide context to design arguments, giving a basis for using design techniques founded in a conceptual understanding of symbolism and current design convention.
