About Hakan
I am a freelance designer and trainer in the fields of Web and Graphics. Between 2013-2020, I taught Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Bootstrap and Wordpress at BilgeAdam Academy.
In addition to individual trainings, I also gave trainings to institutions such as Robert College, Şişli Terakki High School and Zorlu Holding.
I had more than 300 students between 2013-2020. International institutions such as Singapore Airlines, Berner, Tencate were some of my important clients. I also did designs for BilgeAdam Digital and some medium-sized businesses.
Previously, I worked in important institutions for photography technologies such as Nikon and Leica.
I graduated from Yıldız Technical University Photography and Video Undergraduate Program in 2007, the program included 1 year of English preparation and I completed my education as the first in the department.

Lessons start with basic education. Let's take the Photoshop program on the graphic design side:
First, the program interface is introduced; How to use the existing workspace, how to create your personal workspace, how to create a new document and how to work with multiple documents at the same time.
After this information, the use of Pan and zoom movement and Screen modes are explained so that the student can move around the workspace.
Then, since the program is Photoshop, information is given about Images, file formats (such as jpeg, raw, dng, psd, tiff, png, gif ...), color modes, document sizes are explained. After this basic information is given, the main topics such as Layer, Selection areas, Color Choices, Brushes and Gradients, Layer Mask, Retouching, Smart Object, Basic Arrangements, Adjustment Layer, Filters, Shape Layer, Layer Style and Text are divided into subheadings. It is explained in the figure.
The aim of the training is to make you happy designers who are equipped to make the designs you want, bring the ideas in your mind to the screen, and also intellectually qualified about the program and graphic design.
Let's talk a little bit about Web design: On the web design side, the basic HTML structure and components (html elements) are explained first.
The subject proceeds with the properties of the components (html attributes) and continues with CSS.
After understanding the basic information and usage rules about HTML and CSS, page design (html layout) is started.
Using the information previously described in the basic education, the page is created, divided into sections and text, images and links are added. The result is an up-to-date design that is pleasing to the eye.
The scope and number of examples can be increased depending on the student's interest in the field and the time he wants to study.
The aim of the training is to teach the basic concepts that a web designer should know, to give you the information that will enable you to design pages from 0, and to prepare you for other web design tools such as Bootstrap and Wordpress that you may be interested in in the future.
Students can also study web interface design with Photoshop. For this tutorial, the student must have a basic knowledge of Photoshop, but no coding knowledge is required.
