About Margaretha Maria
I’m a qualified teacher and graphic designer. For the past 4 years I was traveling abroad working on cruise ships as well as private yachts. I’m currently volunteering at a small rural school in the Baviaanskloof. We are in the process of developing extracurricular activities for the school children as well as for the community who is in need of social services and development. The community projects include environmental education, excursions, soccer academies and recycling projects.
My past teaching experiences include teaching Grade R and Grades 4 to 7. Some highlights from my past teaching experience include; Grade 7 classroom teacher at St. Michael’s Primary school and teaching Biology, technology and social sciences to grade 4, 5, 6 and 7’s.
Currently I don’t have a permanent teaching position which gives me the time to teach remotely, online. I’m especially passionate about creative arts and graphic design. I also enjoy teaching sciences, English and technology. In my free time I participate in sport such as swimming and long-distance running. I’m also a big Nature Lover and enjoy reading and farming.

I’m an energetic individual, I enjoy interacting with people, their enjoyment- and participation in the present. Working with-, training and managing people is a great enjoyment for me. I strive to teach individuals to become passionate and confident about learning, helping them find their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses. Being a fond student myself aswell, I enjoy learning from people, their culture, their beliefs and their walks of life.
