About Francine
Hi! I'm Fran and I've been using Adobe CAD software for the past 8 years.
I currently run Photoshop workshops at Nottingham Trent University and have taught groups of 25+ students. I have a first class degree in Fashion communication and Promotion so have great experience in graphic design for lifestyle and fashion. I have also worked with brands such as Suit Direct and Po-Zu sustainable shoes, so have great knowledge of the creative industry too! My interests lie within Fashion, Photography and Art so I can mould my Graphic Design workshops to fit around different creative fields.

I like to start the workshops off with a conversation with the students about their individual experiences with CAD software. Depending on their current knowledge and field of interest (e.g. art, fashion, journalism etc.) I will then base the workshop around Adobe skills they may find helpful.
I start by showing some great websites to find inspiration and explaining how easy it is to achieve such amazing work. We then move onto the task, where I share my screen and show examples on how to start. Throughout the task, I give tips and tricks on how to use the software to improve their Graphic Design work.
At the moment all workshops are done online due to Covid and I can use both Zoom or Microsoft teams to run the sessions. However when restrictions ease, I will be available for face to face learning in classrooms.
