I aim to first identify the skills of my students through a short conversation and really understand what their struggle points are. Through this I can then alongside them (or a parent) create a step by step plan on what exactly we should be focusing on and how to work from there. I find it a process of learning together what methods work and don’t and believe in working alongside my student to achieve their goals!!
