About Rory
I am a guitar tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. My interest in guitar began with a passion for music and creative expression. Over time, this passion grew into teaching and guiding students. I have worked with learners of all levels and helped them build strong musical skills. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and effective.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured practice. I break down techniques into simple steps so students can learn comfortably. I encourage regular practice and confidence building. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel motivated to improve. I provide regular feedback to guide progress effectively.
I continue improving my teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Teaching guitar is very rewarding because I see students grow in skill and confidence. I enjoy helping learners discover their musical abilities. My goal is to support students in achieving strong musical skills. By the end, students feel confident, motivated, and ready to enjoy playing guitar with creativity, expression, and confidence.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong technical skills while enjoying the learning process. I teach chords, strumming patterns, rhythm timing, finger placement, and basic music theory using clear and simple explanations. Students learn how to play smoothly and confidently through structured practice. I also include exercises for finger strength and coordination to improve overall control. Lessons are designed to be engaging and practical, helping students stay motivated. I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable exploring and learning without pressure.
Lessons are tailored based on each student’s level and goals. Beginners start with basic chords, simple songs, and rhythm patterns. Intermediate learners work on chord transitions, strumming variations, and musical expression. Advanced students focus on advanced techniques, solo playing, and performance skills. I provide clear guidance and feedback in every lesson. Students are encouraged to practice regularly to build consistency and confidence. Regular revision helps strengthen skills and improve accuracy over time.
Guitar learning becomes more enjoyable when students feel confident in their playing. My goal is to help learners build both technical skills and creativity. As they improve, they begin to enjoy playing music and expressing themselves. Many students gain confidence and develop strong musical ability. I focus on steady progress and continuous support.
