Whether a hobbyist or professional, I am confident I can tailor a learning path forward for you that will raise your overall level of fretboard knowledge, musicianship skills, improvisation language and repertoire. The lessons that I design for my students are mindful of making the content immediately applicable for them on a jam session or a gig and will help you get your playing foundation in order, find any obstacles or bad technique habits you may have developed and get past them.
My approach is holistic - we'll work on technique, rhythm and time, ear training, sight-reading, chords, scales, and theory. We'll hone your chops with exercises targeted to your specific goals and needs. You'll come out the other end knowing your instrument, making your own music and even gain some self-knowledge, along the way.
