About Zalina
"Music flows through my life as a native Colombian expat with 13 years of teaching history. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne. My guitar studio welcomes everyone from absolute beginners to those returning to the instrument after years away. I specialize in fingerpicking, power chords, and reading tabs.
It is quite a joy to share the nuance of blues progressions or a delicate flamenco passage. Hopefully, we can connect over some music soon."

"Guitar instruction requires a clear path forward for your musical growth. You deserve a teacher who uses 13 years of experience to demystify complex barre chords and music theory. During our time, we will tackle everything from strumming patterns to proper tuning and maintenance.
I integrate a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high for all my students. This ensures that you stay engaged between our scheduled meetings. My approach remains grounded in the solid foundation of my university training.
I aim to keep the atmosphere light and rhythmically focused. Enjoying the process of ear training is the primary goal here."
