About Walter
My music school in Munich offers comprehensive guitar lessons in all styles, as well as special preparatory courses for the music high school and university studies in guitar, lute, composition and theory. The" Musikzentrum-Guitar Studio-Walter Abt "cooperates with European music schools and conservatories in Austria, Italy and Spain. Many of my students play with enthusiasm in my ensembles, which are sponsored in international concerts by the Bavarian State Ministry and the Goethe Institute. Some of them are 1st prize winners of "Jugend musiziert" and international music competitions.

The teaching method is based on Paco de Lucia´s modern flamenco technique. The art of interpretation is based on my many years of concert experience and my studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg, in Graz, Verona, Venice and Granada. My lessons are aimed specifically at advanced students who want to be coached in preparation for their high school diploma, future music studies or a competition.
