About Fletcher
I have been playing guitar for many years. I have worked with such artists as Heatwave, Gwen Dickey, Loose Ends, The Trammps and Pee Wee Ellis.
Although I had played professionally for many years, after starting teaching in 2008 I became a student as well. You learn a lot teaching, students introduce new songs they want to learn, introduce new artists. You have to teach a wide range of styles, not just your comfort zone. Country blues for one student, George Benson another, Jimi Hendrix the next. Keeps me on my toes and enjoying teaching.
It still gives me great pleasure to see the students achieve their goals on the guitar.

I have been teaching guitar for many years, starting in 2008. I have learned through experience many techniques to help get students to where they want to be. I can help beginners get to grips with the difficulties they will encounter starting out. I can help intermediate students take their musicianship to the next stage.
I have taught all ages from children to pensioners, obviously adapting the lesson for each individual. Especially for children I try to ensure the lessons are enjoyable, but of course this is important to adults also.
Lessons are £40 per hour, £20 for 30 mins. First lesson is free.
