About Jason
I am a teaching and performing musician with 30 years of playing experience and a degree in music performance. I gig with 3 bands of varying styles and specialise in Rock, Metal, Funk, Blues, Ska and Pop genres. I also have an in depth understanding of rhythm and lead guitar techniques and music theory. Along with this I have experience in the use of music tech such as recording and the use of software studios (DAW's) and the repair and set up of guitars, amplifiers and guitar effects.

My program is aimed at the beginner to intermediate level guitar student. This would start with an informal assessment of the student's abilities and goals and the program will go from there. The main object is to encourage progress through the enjoyment of learning and making music the student likes. This would be supported by instruction in techniques and theory at a pace which is comfortable.
