About William
"Performance focused players and serious adults make up my core student base. I have been playing guitar for 13 years since the age of 5. Professional gigging in indie rock bands across Sydney and Melbourne defined my career.
Teaching became the best part of my week long ago. My approach combines the rigor of my BM Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium with real world stage grit.
I focus on electric technique and music theory to build your foundation. Power chords and scales and modes are staples of my instruction. Come say hello if you want to chat about your playing."

"Fluid chord transitions and precise lead guitar playing happen when you understand the mechanics behind the instrument. Clear technical ability starts with a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan.
This structure ensures we address barre chords or acoustic technique where you actually need the help. Tuning and maintenance keep your gear stage ready while ear training sharpens your internal musicality.
My 13 years spent in the trenches of the music industry inform how I approach these sessions. You will find that I keep things grounded in a solid groove.
Expect a direct critique of your current habits to get things moving. My method keeps the focus on what actually works on stage. I keep the process straightforward and easy to follow."
