About Jay
I have been a professional musician and teacher for over twenty years. I have received my Master's degree in composition from York University and performed at music festivals all over the world.
There is nothing I enjoy more than sharing my love of music, and seeing students discover their love of music is the best part of being a teacher!

About the lesson

I teach everyone from absolute beginner to professionals, and all ages.
I will craft your lessons specifically to what it is you want to learn, putting together a customized lesson plan that targets music you like with all the information you will need to know to play for years. We will cover the basics of the instrument such as:
• Technique
• Rhythm
• Chord vocabulary
• Scales
• Arpeggios and more
After each lesson you will receive:
• A PDF of the Sheet music and chords, with specialized instructions
• Exercises and supporting materials
• A recording of our lesson for your review
• 7 days a week assistance between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm PDT.
I am also offering a half hour free trial lesson for a limited time. If you would like to book your free trial please let me know and I will make a spot in my schedule.
