About Alexis
My name is Alexis Mendoza Gómez. I have been playing classical guitar for 15 years and I studied both classical guitar and solfeggio at the Alteanense Philharmonic (Altea, Alicante). In these 15 years I have developed a great experience around the world of the guitar, specializing in classical, flamenco and electric guitar. Throughout these years I have played other instruments such as the Spanish lute, bandurria, Irish bouzouki and Celtic winds such as Tin Whistles and Low Whistles.
I have participated, collaborated and worked in various groups with different themes and musical styles. From medieval and Renaissance ancient music, through Celtic and folk music, to Rock and Heavy Metal groups.
Currently I am deeply engaged in classical guitar, I am working on new techniques and deepening this style of guitar. I work on classical and contemporary works, composers such as Francisco Tárrega, Thierry Tisserand, Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi are my main references.
