In the past year, Erika has led the learning circles of our Spanish playgroup for kids 0-6. She was always well-prepared, creative, and engaged our kids with a range of activities to make the lessons fun and varied. The activities included a mix of games, singing, dancing, story time, arts and craft. This kept the kids engaged while both reinforcing existing language skills and learning new vocabulary. Erika always had lessons planned around a specific topic which she explored in an eclectic way to address different learner types.
She also sourced the material necessary to explore the chosen topics. Celebrations like Christmas, Easter, Mother's and Father's day were always remembered and built into the lesson plan.
Erika stayed always calm, focused, respectful, friendly and cheerful which is commendable considering how wild our playgroup kids could get!
