About Johnny
I have been a musician since early grade school. I have always worked to hone the craft of guitar playing by learning my favorite songs and writing many originals.
Since high school I have been in several bands including Heads of Lettuce where I was lead guitar and singer and Tiny Shoulders where I was on bass.
In recent years I have been focusing on acoustic folk rock and traditional Irish folk music with my girlfriend in our new band The Last Drags.
This year I hope to begin hosting a live stream music show on Twitch on Saturday mornings.

About the lesson

I will start all beginners with basic three finger chords and simple scales. We will then work on learning your favorite songs and add more chords as they come. We can then begin to learn and memorize some basic "licks" and solos.
As we advance more, we will get into music theory and learn what chords go together so you can begin to write your own songs.
I am ready to teach levels from very beginners to advanced.
