About Laura
I am currently a high school student in the class of 2026. As mentioned before, I am in advanced classes in English, with my knowledge I use that to allow for ties to be made between both languages so you can profound comprehension and connections for both dialects. I have helped people with reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar in Portuguese. My goal within my course is to ensure that students come out with a deeper understanding of the Portuguese language, be able to read, write, and speak Portuguese, have a conversation, and learn more about Brazilian Culture!

My methods of Tutoring involve immersive learning. There's homework twice a week, with assessments that are curated to your needs as a student. Within lessons, you will also get a glimpse into Brazilian Portuguese culture. The unique part of my program is that I use the English Language in order to help students to understand and speak Portuguese. My lessons are usually for beginners and intermediate speakers, but anyone who is in need of tutoring in Portuguese, I am able to help!
