Typically my lessons follow the following format: Warm-Up & Recap I like to begin each lesson with a quick recap of what we covered last time or a few warm-up questions. This helps the student get focused, refreshes their memory, and sets a positive tone for the session. Teaching the Main Concept I introduce the day’s topic clearly and at a pace that suits the student. I use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and visual aids where needed to make the concept easier to understand. I regularly check in to make sure they’re following along and adjust the approach if needed. Independent Practice I then guide the student through practice questions, encouraging them to apply what they’ve learned. I’m there to support and prompt when needed, but I also give them space to think independently and build confidence in solving problems on their own. Review & Reflection At the end of the lesson, we go over what we’ve learned, clear up any remaining questions, and talk about what’s coming next. I offer feedback and, where helpful, suggest short follow-up tasks to reinforce the lesson.
