About Shreya
I am Shreya Kantha, 24 and have recently completed my Masters in English from Visva Bharati. I am looking forward to welcome you into joining me as I read texts not only as a manner of teaching but also to tell a story. I have always enjoyed reading and creative writing. A class will typically consist of reading, writing, and discussion as components, though not in the order laid out. A text (ranging across poetry, fiction, drama as well as non fiction) will be read aloud, students will be encouraged to form their own readings and share it with me, followed by a close reading offered by me. This will be followed by discussion of questions and answers, subsequent tests and surprise assessments from time to time. I’ll be taking up a text as a holistic learning unit pertaining not only to exam but also to the general development of the pupil.
