About Colin
I started playing the guitar at 12 and began lessons at the Colorado Springs Conservatory shortly after. I also studied music theory, musical theater, opera, songwriting and more while I was there for over four years. I taught on and off for the last 15+ years and played in a wide array of bands. I have experience playing live in front of audiences and as a studio musician as well. I have been a singer/songwriter for over half of my life and enjoy sharing my passion with students.

My classes and lesson plans are designed for students of all ages. I customize each lesson plan for each student based on experience, desired styles/songs and what the students want to do with the instrument in the long run. From cover songs to play with friends or to play in a band situation, I can help make a path to achieve that goal. Songwriting structure and singing while playing are also things I can teach. Providing mobile lessons allows the student to set a consistent schedule of practice and progress.
