As an online English teacher, I believe learning should be interactive, personalized, and enjoyable. My teaching method is student-centered, which means I adapt each lesson according to the learner’s goals, strengths, and pace. I focus on real-life communication and confidence-building rather than just memorizing rules or vocabulary.
I use a combination of communicative and task-based teaching methods. My classes often include:
Role-plays, debates, discussions, and storytelling to enhance fluency and spontaneity.
Exposure to real-world texts, songs, videos, and podcasts to build comprehension and vocabulary naturally.
Instead of isolated grammar drills, I teach grammar through meaningful usage in real conversations or texts.
I encourage creative and academic writing tasks followed by detailed feedback to help students improve structure and expression.
Each class typically follows this flow:
Warm-Up (5 mins) – Light conversation or a quick activity to activate prior knowledge
Core Lesson– Focused learning on a specific theme or skill (speaking, writing, grammar, etc.) using real-life content
Practice Activity – A task, conversation, or writing prompt based on the lesson
Feedback and Wrap-Up– Recap of the day’s learning and suggestions for improvement or homework
I personalize every session — no two students get the same lesson plan.
I create a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where making mistakes is part of learning.
