About Robert
During my PhD I tutored athletes in numerous subjects and was always in high demand from recommendations. Because I enjoy teaching, I completed a teaching certificate during my PhD and was a guest lecturer in cognitive science and neurobiology. I began teaching as a faculty member at a small liberal arts college in 2021 and from there I picked up my teaching style that focused on meeting each individual's needs and shaping classes and my teaching style to meet the interests of each student. Since 2024 I have been teaching at a well-known research university and still focus on making sure my students succeed, no matter their background or interests. I bring this same attitude to tutoring.

I have taught in-person classes in psychology and neuroscience, including introduction to psychology, research methods, sensation and perception and learning and memory. While it is not my full time job, I love teaching the next generation of thinkers and researchers. The goal in all my classes, and with online teaching and tutoring, is to make learning a topic fun and relevant to each student’s interests. I am here to help you grow and succeed.
