About Sydnee
I love, love, love to teach! When I was struggling in school, tutors who were able to break down concepts into simple terms that had patterns and nemonics were the ones that I learned best from.
I am very approachable and easy to vent/relate to. If you're struggling on material ...trust me, I can assure you I was too. I love to pass down my knowledge in order to help others (probably why I love nursing!)
I was a TA at UMass Amherst for 2 years in an upper-level research writing course, and absolutely loved it. I let students know they could come to me whenever for anything, which applies here! I'm timely in my responses, and will do anything in order for you to get the most out of our sessions.

A little about me: I have an extensive background in teaching at the college level in research writing (a lot of literature reviews. I also have taught swimming to kiddos since I was 17, and was a Big Sis/Mentor for Strong Girls United Foundation. So...I am used to adapting to every individual's learning style.
For the first session, I like to get to know you, and how you learn best. I am really easy to talk to, and I want you to get the most out of our session--so I like to know how to make that happen!
From there on, I want to make a lesson plan for you that is adaptable, as you can't predict learning, what you need, and what you may not need. I'm great at using visuals and breaking down concepts to simple fundamentals.
I am strongest at teaching Nursing, Kinesiology, A&P, and writing!
