About Vikki
Hi! I’m Vikki, a Social Work England registered social worker with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Social Work and in excess of five years of experience working in children’s services.
During my career, I’ve worked in safeguarding, fostering, and I currently work as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). I’m passionate about helping students understand the realities of children’s social care and connecting what you learn academically with professional practice.
My aim is to provide friendly, supportive tutoring that helps you build your understanding and confidence. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an exam, or simply want to deepen your understanding of the subject, I’d be happy to help.
I’d love to support students studying Social Work, Health & Social Care and related subjects. I can help with areas including children’s social work, safeguarding, child protection, fostering, child development, social work theory, legislation, multi-agency working and applying theory to case studies.

My sessions are friendly, relaxed and tailored to you. If there’s a particular topic you’re struggling with, we can break it down together and look at practical examples to help it make sense.
I won’t simply give you answers or complete assessed work for you. Instead, I’ll help you understand the subject, develop your own ideas and become more confident in applying your knowledge.
I’m particularly happy to work with students who are considering a career in children’s social work and want to understand more about the profession from someone currently working in the field.
