About Louis
Hello! My name is Louis, and I'm an experienced Oxbridge Admissions tutor.
I graduated from Brasenose College in 2022 and have worked as a paralegal, a Civil Servant (in the Treasury and the Cabinet Office), and am now studying for my SQE before beginning a Training Contract with the Government Legal Department.
I have lots of experience tutoring students from a range of backgrounds and stages, but particularly like to focus on those preparing to apply for Oxford and Cambridge. I have particular insight into these processes, having successfully passed through them myself and worked closely with the tutors and admissions staff while at University. Since then, I have worked very closely with schools through the Civil Service Social Mobility network, offering tailored careers and admissions advice.
Everyone should have the chance to attend Oxbridge if they wish, and I would love to help anyone who does!

I like to teach in 45-minute to hour-long sessions, depending on our specific subject focus. I teach those preparing to apply for Oxbridge, as well as those studying A-level law,
I encourage these sessions to be student-led, as preparing for Oxbridge is about confidence and initiative. For example, if we're preparing for an interview, this would be structured like an Oxbridge tutorial, with me prompting you to discuss complex source material and draw out what you find interesting or eye-catching.
I have been tutoring for 4 years, through organisations such as the Oxbridge Launchpad, and more recently with DukesPlus and Oxbridge Admissions. I am currently studying for my SQE before beginning a training contract with the Government Legal Department
