About Danae
Hi there! I am an RN and certified Nurse Coach! I was an LPN for 3 years and have been an RN for 7 years. I have experience in peri-operative nursing, neuro-rehab home care, sub-acute rehab, long-term care, pediatric/school nursing, education, and a short stent in L&D.
Personally, I have completed studies in-person and online so I understand the unique advantages and challenges of each format. I have experience tutoring one-on-one and am currently working at Boise State University as a clinical adjunct faculty member in their School of Nursing. I have a passion for helping students learn and succeed, and becoming the best nurses around! I look forward to working with you!

Nursing school is tough! I like to say, "nursing school is not for the faint of heart!" So with that being said, I want you to know that you don't have to go at it alone. I am here to support you in your nursing school journey! In our sessions, I want to spend time getting to know YOU and making an individualized plan together to help you succeed. Our focus will be learning the "WHY" so that you can confidently apply your knowledge and critical thinking skills to any question you come across. We’ll not only work to use our in-session time effectively, but we’ll make a plan for success outside of our sessions too! Topics we'll cover: - Test-taking strategies (specific to NCLEX/NGN styled questions) - Test anxiety management/support - Study plan to refer to outside of our sessions together - Content review specific to your needs/challenges I want to support you in the most effective way possible, so I am also available via messaging or text between sessions to my students.

Perfect! I love meeting it Danae! We talk through things and break them down so I can get a better understanding of what I am learning about! She's taught me great techniques for test taking skills that have shown to be helpful in my recent exams!
Perfect! Danae is amazing. She will work with you to figure out what days work best for sessions. And she will go along with how you learn best and how you prefer to study. She always makes sure to give time for questions and clarifying comments. Truly a great tutor and highly recommended!
Perfect! I have been tutoring with Danae for almost a year now. She tutored me through my entire last year of nursing school and until i finished my NCLEX. She is the most amazing tutor I have experienced. She makes you feel super comfortable and I never once felt judged or bad if I didn't know something. She was extremely accommodating and sent so many helpful resources. My exam scores increased tremendously since having sessions with her and she helped me pass my NCLEX on the first try in just 85 questions!! I would recommend her to anyone! Absolutely amazing tutor and such a kind person.

Perfect! Danae was amazing! I started the lesson defeated by not understanding med math. After spending an hour with Danae, I now feel so much more confident in tackling medical calculations. Danae started the meeting with a quick intro and then we jumped right into the lesson. I booked a second lesson with Danae for continued support and guidance while I work through calculations. I will definitely continue to book with Danae as I continue my nursing school journey.

Danae is the best of the best, professionally and personally. She is brilliant and knows how to help people feel welcome, safe, understood and encouraged, and truly learn and remember. She knows what it takes to become a nurse and become an excellent one at that and also deeply understands how to help people make it there too. She is fun and trustworthy. She prioritizes commitments she makes and can be entrusted with anyone's education journey!
