My approach is based on communicative and linguistic-cultural methods: language is learned through meaning, context, and lively communication.
I strive to make my lessons practical, motivating, and flexible—I adapt the material to each student so that it corresponds to their level, goals, and interests. I use authentic texts, videos, movie clips, literary excerpts, and modern dialogues.
In my classes, I focus on:
• developing speaking skills and lexical accuracy,
• natural acquisition of grammar through speech,
• building confidence in using the language,
• understanding the cultural context of Russian speech.
Typical lesson plan
Each class has a clear structure, but remains lively and varied:
1. Introduction and warm-up — conversation or mini-dialogue to get into the language.
2. Main part — working with new material (vocabulary, text, listening, discussion, game, project).
3. Practice and reinforcement — exercises in speaking, writing, and using new vocabulary.
4. Feedback and reflection — what worked, what became clearer, what to focus on next time.
