About Zoe
Hello, my name is Zoe Newsome. I have been a musician for a little over 12 years. I have learned a number of instruments but my main one is flute, and I also know a little guitar and bass. I have been in a number of ensembles and have learned many different music forms. I have prior experience teaching children but I have also taught adults who want to learn an instrument. I am a firm believer in it is never too late to learn. I also know conducting fundamentals so if that is something you are interested in I am happy to help. I believe I am a fun and effective teacher. You will leave learning something new every day.

I have prior experience teaching children of all ages and I love to make sure they have fun with it. Music is a beautiful thing that should be shared and enjoyed while also appreciated. Music also increases ability to retain knowledge. So in my lessons you will learn music and how to use the skills you acquire in everyday life.
