About Orest

Hi there! My name is Orest and I live in Chicago, Illinois! Home of the deep dish pizza! I have a degree in Philosophy and have been teaching kids of all ages for over 8 years. I love to keep the classroom environment a safe one where the child feels comfortable and interested in the material at the same time without getting distracted.

About the lesson

My lessons are geared towards being as interactive as possible. When I have a student in the classroom, I want them to feel engaged and stimulated the entire time. I do not want them to feel as if this is work. To incorporate this, I like to use many props, play games, present pictures and videos, give quizzes and exams, and occasionally free-talk. Each classroom is designed to meet the needs of the student and I have been successful in doing so.
