About Saima
I am passionate about guiding students with their GCSE's and A-levels. Based on my own experiences and success, I am determined to equip you with the tools, resources, and concepts to achieving your potential in English Literature. My extensive familiarity with the core texts and themes on the National Curriculum, I can offer personalised revision and essay writing techniques for all students. This also extends to personal statement guidance and non-academic writing.

For GCSE and A-level, I aim to lay foundational concepts and themes so that you are able to closely analyse extracts from literary texts across time, and consider the contextual significance of these texts. This approach will rely on your ideas and participation so that we are able to highlight your strengths and areas of improvement.
The typical length of a session will be 55 minutes, including dedicated time to reflect on what you have learnt and the lesson plan in preparation for the next lesson.
These lessons are designed for all age groups (Year 7-13) and varied abilities, both in a group setting and on a one-to-one basis.
Overall, my tutoring will centre on offering YOU a variety of interpretations and critical perspectives that will excite and challenge YOU to read literature in ways that engage with contemporary issues we collectively face today, including race, gender, and postcolonialism.
